So after a few months of no eggs from Purina Layena and the girls just looking like crap I changed to this. Girls love it and in 3 days started getting eggs again. It’s been about 2 weeks now and they are starting to look good. 2 years on Purina Layena not a problem till Oct/Nov 2022… Get your girls off Purina Layena or any Purina food!!!

I placed 3 different feeds in 3 different feeders and the results were clearly in favor of this brand. Expensive, a little. But it’s 50lbs and I’m sure shipping isn’t cheap. I’ve also noticed an increase in egg production during the winter months. Worth a try if you ask me.

Our rooster, who had been attacked by a dog, and his newly adopted “spent hen” we got from a friend because she was no longer laying went crazy for this food! We had tried many expensive organic brands and they were always half powder (even the pellet ones) and the birds’ combs and waddles were wan and faded. When they got this food, they would literally eat every speck, even being free range. Within days their combs and his waddle were bright red again and she began laying eggs again! LOVE this product!
